We had originally scheduled Jeff and Laura’s engagement session for a date in March but on the day of the shoot it was freezing and calling for more snow. We decided to reschedule for a spring session in April and I’m so glad we did! The trees were in full bloom which provided the perfect colorful backdrop for photos! Jeff and Laura are such a sweet couple and I loved having the opportunity to get to know them better at their e-session. Jeff and Laura are a very active couple and LOVE playing golf together! Jeff got Laura into the sport and actually proposed on a golf course! He surprised Laura by placing the ring box in the 18th hole! During the proposal, family watched from a nearby balcony and were eager to celebrate with the happy couple! Laura and Jeff’s wedding will take place at Heritage Hills, which is the sister golf course to where the proposal took place. It only makes sense that golf be a part of their big day!
Jeff and Laura met online and are another internet dating success story! They are truly a wonderful match and enjoy lots of the same activities! Some of their favorite things to do are host friends and family for cookouts and pool parties, watching movies in their backyard, and eating out at their favorite restaurants. They both love routine and living simple lives. I love how Laura describes themselves as a 75 year old married couple because they love routine so much! I had so much fun hanging out with these two and shooting their engagement portraits. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from this spring session!
Jeff had this ring custom designed for Laura using the diamond from his grandmother’s ring!
