I’m not sure where to begin with this post.  I had been eagerly anticipating Lizz and Eric’s wedding day the whole year for several reasons.  Lizz is a friend of mine from Messiah College and she has one of the biggest hearts, most vibrant personalities, and contagious laughs of anyone I know!  Lizz and Eric chose Moonstone Manor as their wedding venue and I couldn’t wait to shoot at this gorgeous estate venue!  Moonstone Manor is one of premier wedding venues in Central PA and it’s a a bonus that it was only a five minute drive from our house!  We had photographed Lizz and Eric’s engagement session at Moonstone Manor during the winter when the property was covered in snow and I couldn’t wait to get these two back in front of my camera for their beautiful summer wedding!

Lizz worked for months created so many special DIY details for their big day!  There were so many personal touches including handmade hearts that the flower girls carried down the aisle, a note sewn into the father of the bride’s tie, monogrammed bridesmaids shirts, and so much more!  Overall it was the absolute perfect day.  In the morning there were chances of rain but God so graciously provided a stunning day with gorgeous weather!  It was such an honor to capture two amazing individuals become husband and wife.  Eric and Lizz are such a joyful couple and were so easy to photograph because they adore each other and can make each other laugh so easily!  Their joy and love for one another is so evident in their wedding photos.  Enjoy photos from one of my absolute favorites weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of shooting!  Congrats Lizz and Eric!

Lizz sewed a piece of her dad’s shirt into her wedding dress!

Lizz wore a stunning pearl necklace for the ceremony and then exchanged the pearls for a monogrammed necklace for the reception, so fun!

Lizz wore her mother’s garter and perfume on her wedding day.

Lizz had four of the cutest flower girls I’ve ever seen!  You can tell how much these girls adored Lizz, they didn’t leave her side the whole day!

Each of the flower girls held a pink heart as they walked down the aisle in memory of Lizz & Eric’s grandparents.

Lizz’s dad built the beautiful arbor!

Lizz and Eric’s dog, Max, made an appearance at the wedding!  Max’s caretaker for the day matched his suit jacket with Max’s bowtie!

Hors d’oeuvres consisted of all Lizz and Eric’s favorites including gummy bears and jelly beans!  Every detail of their wedding day was so them which made their day even more special and fun!

For favors, Lizz and Eric made a donation to the Inspiration Center in Nairobi, Kenya to assist children who cannot afford school fees and to support weekly art classes at the center.  The children who attend the center hand painted each bottle cap as a gift for Lizz and Eric to give to their guests on their wedding day.
