I have been anxiously awaiting Dylan and Nikki’s Bohemia River Overlook wedding ever since Nikki contacted me back in March!  I knew Dylan and Nikki would be amazing because they were friends of Lauren and Taylor whose wedding I shot back in April.  I’m so thankful to Lauren for connecting us and now not only having Dylan and Nikki as clients but friends!

Their waterfall engagement session was epic and Nikki told me she wanted to get in the water again for her wedding day.  I was pretty much in photographer heaven all day!

Nikki is one of the most exciteable people I’ve ever met.  You can’t be around her for more than a couple minutes without her laughing and doing the cutest little “Nikki dance”…I don’t know how else to describe it.  She does the cutest little jiggle dance whenever she’s excited and it’s the funniest thing!  Dylan is the absolute perfect match for Nikki and they complement each other so well.  They’re both incredibly smart, successful, and all around awesome people.  They have such kind and selfless hearts which was noted in the toasts on their wedding day.

All the guests, especially their amazing bridal party, were crazy about them!  Dylan and Nikki are so adored and will have a built in support system for life.

Dylan and Nikki planned the perfect bayside wedding and incorporated so many special details.  Nikki is incredibly close to her Pappap so he planned a very important role in their wedding day as you’ll see in the photos below.  There’s so much I could say about these two and their day but I’ll let the photos tell the story.  Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Lahman, we’re so excited for you!!

Nikki was incredibly close with her grandmother who passed away.  She chose to honor her on her wedding day by wearing her bracelet and perfume.  She also created a special memorial chair for her at the ceremony.  I love when brides find meaningful ways to honor their loved ones on their wedding day.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Nikki shared a simultaneous First Look with her dad and Pappap at the same time!  I just love her Pappap’s reaction!

Nikki was then warmed up for her First Look with Dylan 😉
